Pixel Dreams goes to the ROM

Friday May 11 |

The Pixel Dreams team had a highly anticipated day at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) in order to gain more inspiration and obtain research for an upcoming project. As we split up into two small groups, the exploration began.

Wandering around the ROM gave the majority of us a sense of rediscovery and brought up memories of our past trips. We saw mummies, Greek gods, and all different sorts of biodiversity, including the infamous bat cave. Everywhere you turned there was a need to snap a photo. The “Dino Dig” and dinosaur exhibit brought out the inner child in all of us, as we gawked in awe at the fossils and skeletons. Throughout our exploration we were constantly brainstorming and applying the inspiration we obtained from the exhibits.

After our ROM trip, we walked to Gabby’s for some lunch and lovely drinks.

Overall, it was an amazing day and the great weather nicely topped it off. Everybody should definitely take the chance to make a trip to the ROM; fun, knowledge and inspiration are always in store.
