3D printing is still at its infancy. This technology is still very expensive, but won’t be for long. As futurists, we believe that every household will one day have a 3D printer, able to print everything from widgets to tacos. In the Star Trek world, we call this technology, replicators!

About our speakers

3D printing evangelist and digital fabrication artist who got his start with the introduction of hobbyist 3D printers. He is heavily involved in the Maker community in Toronto, Canada and is very passionate about introducing people to the latest tools and technologies that enable creativity.

President of 3DPhacktory, a collaborative 3D Printing and Design studio. With over fifty films as a Producer or Assistant Director he sees the similarities in the intersection of art and technology between filmmaking and 3D Printing. 3DPhacktory functions like an independent film studio, provides access to multi material 3D printing technology for Designers and Makers to bring their works from concept to reality.
